1. Introductory Level Courses
Online introductory courses are non-refundable, non-returnable, and non-transferable.
2. Foundations in TCTSY Trauma Sensitive Yoga
a) Financial policies for TCTSY Foundational Trainings are determined by the respective Licensed Trainer, affiliated organizations, or studios. Refer to the external training listing for specific financial policies.
3. TCTSY Certification Course (for candidates living outside Latin America -- please visit our Spanish language certification program page for financial policies for candidates living inside Latin America)
a) Cost and Payment
i. The total cost of the TCTSY Certification Program is $3,600 USD plus a one-time, non-refundable payment processing fee of $125.
ii. Upon acceptance, candidates must make an initial payment of $725 within 14 days.
iii. Candidates will be enrolled in an auto-pay system for subsequent payments of $600, deducted monthly beginning 30 days after the initial payment until the balance is paid in full.
b) Refund Policy:
i. Full refund available if withdrawal occurs on or before June 15th.
ii. Partial refund available after June 15th, subject to spot filling. A $250 administrative fee will be retained, and the balance refunded if the spot is filled by August 15th. If unable to fill your spot by August 15th, payments will be refunded as follows:
-- For payments totaling $1,200 or more, CFTE will retain $750 and refund any remaining balance;
-- If the candidate has paid $600, CFTE will retain $375 and refund the remaining balance.
iii. No refunds issued after August 15th. However, candidates may defer certification to the following year (additional fees and requirements apply).
c) Withdrawals During Certification Program:
i. Candidates must discuss options for deferral with their Mentor and email the program coordinator for confirmation.
ii. Deferred candidates may incur a $1,140 fee for re-enrollment for the entire program or a $570 fee if deferring after completing September through December modules.
iii. No further extension of time is allowed without full re-enrollment.
d) Requests to Extend Completion beyond March 31st:
i. A fee of $260 will be charged for additional time to complete the program, covering 2.5 hours of mentorship.
ii. Additional mentorship hours beyond the initial allocation will be assessed at $100 per hour.
iii. Candidates must complete the program by June 15th or re-enroll for certification.
iv. Extensions due to disability will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
4. Trauma Informed Weight Lifting
Self-Paced TIWL Courses
a) Cost and Payment
i. Course pricing varies by training and ranges from $29–$297.
ii. Payment is due in full at the time of purchase.
b) Refund Policy
i. All self-paced TIWL courses are non-refundable. Once course materials are made available, no refunds will be issued.
ii. In the event that multiple copies of the same self-paced course are purchased in error, CFTE will issue a refund for the duplicate purchase minus a $25 service fee.
Trauma-Informed Weight Lifting Certificate Program
a) Cost and Payment
i. The total cost of the certificate program is $1,695, payable either in full at the time of enrollment or through two payments of $875.
ii. Participants who select the payment plan agree to have the remaining balance automatically charged according to the payment schedule until the full amount is paid.
b) Refunds and Withdrawals
i. If a participant withdraws from the program within 5 days of applications closing, a full refund will be issued.
ii. After this date, a refund may be issued only if the participant’s spot can be filled, less a $50 administrative fee.
iii. No full refunds will be issued once course materials have been made available to the participant.
iv. Participants may request to defer enrollment to a future training, subject to availability and a reinstatement fee.
