Training Coordinator
Trauma Informed Weight Lifting • Training/Technology

Center for Trauma and Embodiment is seeking an experienced Training Coordinator to assist with the administration and management of our Trauma Informed Weight Lifting (TIWL) training programs. This is a remote, part-time, contract position starting at 10 hours per week plus an additional 5-10 hours per week during active trainings. Compensation will be $20-$25/hr. commensurate with experience.

CFTE is a non-profit global leader in embodied mental health care, serving thousands of individuals around the world in the process of healing from complex trauma and PTSD. Our programs include TCTSY Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Trauma Informed Weight Lifting, and ReScripted Trauma-Informed Improv. We are based in Boston, MA but our team works remotely from many locations, including Washington DC, Houston, New York, and Puerto Rico.

Because we specialize in trauma-informed care, the ideal candidate will have strong experience with trauma-informed principles and practices, especially on an organizational level. Individuals with a background in social work, mental health, or trauma-related community work will be given preference. 

The TIWL Training Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Director of TIWL and Director of Communications to follow best practices, implement strategies, and complete administrative tasks for our TIWL Certificate and Foundations training programs, which take place 2-6 times per year. Preference will be given to candidates who have run or assisted virtual training programs.

 As the TIWL Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating our online training programs. Your key duties include:

  • Managing launch and registration processes for our online training via our digital training platform and website.
  • Providing administrative and informational support for registrants and trainees.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring a seamless learning experience.
  • Developing, implementing, and managing new digital training programs or courses.
  • Creating outgoing communications related to training programs, including pre-training preparations, updates, and follow ups.
  • Maintaining clear and effective communication channels with participants.
  • Organizing and maintaining databases related to participant information, attendance records, and feedback.
  • Generating and organizing reports as needed to track training metrics and participant data.

In addition, the Training Coordinator may be asked to assist with data collection and collation, CRM maintenance, video editing and captioning, or other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

You will be expected to work from your own computer and devices for this role.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish a plus
  • 2+ years of relevant experience managing digital training platforms; Kajabi experience plus
  • Professional experience in a trauma-informed setting; completion of a CFTE training a plus
  • Proficiency in Canva, Meta Business Suite, G Suite, Trello or Jira
  • Proficiency in database management and reporting
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow through on multiple projects and be self-motivated
