In this two-part workshop, you can expect to explore the impact of caregiving, witnessing, and navigating the stress of our current sociopolitical climate—and how these experiences can pull you out of your body and away from the powerful resource of your own presence. Across both sessions, we’ll normalize the challenges of being human in today’s world and introduce self-compassion and mindfulness as essential tools for meeting your own needs when feeling stressed, exhausted, or overwhelmed.

You’ll engage in guided reflection and experiential practices, and have the opportunity to design a personal self-compassion action to carry forward.

  • One-page handout with additional resources, tips, and tools to stay equipped.
  • Access to both session recordings for up to two weeks after the sessions meet.

These sessions will take place via zoom on Thursday August 14th and 21st 6:00-7:30pm EST. Zoom links will be emailed out at least one week before the scheduled session.

*This workshop is intended to be a cumulative experience, and participants are expected to attend both sessions to fully engage with the material and practices offered.
